Some few months ago, it was reported that a pilot for a Teen Titans live-action television series titled “Titans” was in development for the television channel TNT. Although not much information was given on the project, it was confirmed that the series would center around Dick Grayson, better known as Nightwing as the main protagonist alongside fellow Teen Titans Starfire and Raven. The rest of the team’s roster is unknown at this time.
Yesterday  via Twitter, DC Comics’ Geoff Johns, who is assisting with the project, received a tweet from a fan. To which he replied, giving confirmation that the series will be beginning shooting in the 2015 year.

@kyler416 Long time coming to get Nightwing to live action…!

Although most were already certain of this, it’s even more reassuring hearing it from Geoff Johns. Titans IS happening and shooting WILL begin next year. Now that leaves the question as to whether or not the series will become a full-length television series. Seeing as how DC is doing so well with current live-action shows, most notably Arrow and The Flash, it is not too far fetched to believe the pilot will allow birth to a full series.
