Warner Bros. Home Entertainment unleashes an all-new clip for “Justice League: Throne of Atlantis”.
According to the solicit synopsis for the clip, it reveals the initial discovery – by Cyborg and Colonel Steve Trevor – of the event that could lead to a war between Atlantis and the surface dwellers, and sends the Justice League in search of Arthur Curry.
Adapted from the celebrated story arc in the Justice League series from the New 52, by Geoff Johns, Aquaman (voiced by Matt Lanter) will be forced to choose between the Justice League and Atlantis when Atlantean warriors invade Gotham City and Metropolis during a siege. What will he do?
The clip shows the film will feature the New 52 designs of the characters, from the current line of comics. The film itself is a direct sequel to Justice League: War, an animated film released early this year.
While Justice League: War did not feature Aquaman as its comic counterpart did, Throne of Atlantis will have him in the spotlight, to a point where Aquaman might as well be the center piece of the movie. It seems the writers are trying to make Aquaman become the heart of the league, seeing as he is going to have to make some tough choices.

Starring Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman – and featuring Aquaman, plus many more fan favorites, “Justice League: Throne of Atlantis” will be released by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment as a Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD on January 27, 2015.
