While attending the Lucca Film Festival, British actor Jeremy Irons was asked about Batman vs. Superman. Irons will be playing Batman/Bruce Wayne’s faithful butler, Alfred Pennyworth, in the film. Irons had nothing but good things to say about the script, “The next Batman has an amazing screenplay. It’s a blockbuster written from the heart.”
Joining Irons in the film are Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent, Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. The film is set to debut in theaters on March 25th, 2016.
