It was announced today that the new DC Animated film Justice League: Gods and Monsters will be receiving a comic book series starting in July, which will serve as a prequel to the upcoming film. Each of the main characters will be given their own individual story leading up to a group adventure that will show how this alternate version of the Justice League was founded.
Legendary artist, animator and producer Bruce Timm is returning to the wonderful world of the DC Animated Universe in this full-length film that is set in an alternate universe and features a highly original take on Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman.
Although this comic book prequel won’t be available until July, some of the artwork is available for your viewing pleasure in this morning’s episode of DC All Access, along with the official trailer for the upcoming animated film.
