Several new variant covers for Dark Knight III: The Master Race Book Two have been revealed, which include covers from Frank Miller, Cliff Chiang, and Eduardo Risso. Also included is Risso’s cover for the issue’s mini-comic insert, featuring Wonder Woman. Dark Knight III: The Master Race Book Two hits shelves December 23.
This epic finale to the saga of the aging dark knight is the sequel to The Dark Knight Strikes Back also referred to as DK 2 and picks up where that installment in the series left off.
The Dark Knight III: The Master Race will be an eight issue limited series and it will be the third and final installment in the Dark Knight Returns Trilogy, though not many details have been provided, it’s said to be “the ending you didn’t see coming”, which seems pretty cryptic.
