The sophomore season of The Flash has been running all on cylinders since episode one. Seasoned comic fans will of course know that the upcoming episode “Gorilla Warfare” will bring the return of one of Barry Allen’s most notorious rapscallions, Grodd. An extended promo trailer was released showing off the new, and improved look of the telepathic gorilla. With Barry confined to a wheelchair minus his speed, who will save Central City, mainly Caitlin, from the clutches of Grodd. After seeing what an amazing job the special effects crew did with King Shark, I’m glad they went ahead and updated the look of Grodd for season two. He looks bigger and more menacing. Team Flash will certainly have their hands full trying to take down the beast without the help of the Scarlett Speedster. presumably Barry will bounce back with a speedy recovery just in time to save the day. I want to see a Flash/Grodd showdown, and I’m quite positive I’m not the only one.

Grodd returns to Central City and kidnaps Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker). Barry (Grant Gustin) and team race to find her before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) plans his first date with the new barista at Jitters, Kendra Saunders (guest star Ciara Renée) and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) begins to suspect Barry is hiding something from her. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Aaron Helbing & Todd Helbing (#207). Original airdate 11/17/2015.
