DC’s highly anticipated new show, Legends of Tomorrow, will air on The CW for the first time on January 21st.
Peter Roth, Warner Bros. Television Group President, and Greg Berlanti, Executive Producer, confirmed this at the Paley Centre for Media where they recently talked about the series, along with some of Berlanti’s other new projects, such as NBC’s Blindspot starring Jamie Alexander and CBS’s Supergirl starring Melissa Benoist.
Roth, commenting on Berlanti’s recent success in the television industry, said, “For those of you who don’t know Greg is currently shepherding the numbers one and two highest rated new series of the year. With a third series, Legends of Tomorrow, we have very high hopes for on January the 21st.”
Despite the date being commented on by the companies own president, neither Warner Bros. or the CW have officially confirmed the premiere date. Even if Roth is a reliable source, there has been no comment on the Thursday scheduling change to make room for Legends of Tomorrow, since Thursday’s on the CW are currently occupied by Reign and The Vampire Diaries.
Be sure to catch the Arrow/The Flash spinoff show, Legends of Tomorrow, on January 21st. The show stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Arthur Darvill, Dominic Purcell, Wentworth Miller, Ciara René, Falk Hentschel, and Franz Drameh.
