Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is going all out for the Ultimate Edition Blu-ray with an R rating, according to the Classifications and Ratings Administration.
This expanded cut of the film will likely be in a similar vein to Snyder’s Ultimate Cut of Watchmen, and is reportedly rated R for “scenes of violence” meaning the success of the recent R-rated comic book film, Deadpool, most likely had no bearing on this new cut.
No other details about this Ultimate Edition have been revealed as of yet.
