This weekend at San Diego Comic-Con International, The CW dropped the season 3 trailer for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow following the show’s Comic-Con panel.

The cast confirmed during the panel that Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold) and Arthur Darvil (Rip Hunter) will both be returning to the show with recurring guest roles, and Neal McDonough’s will return as a regular with his villainous character Damien Darhk.Â
In the newest season, the Legends – though disbanded and succeeded by Rip Hunter’s newly established Time Bureau – will have to regroup to mend the fractured timeline they created. The Legends defeated Eobard Thawne – the Reverse Flash – and his Legion of Doom at the end of the last season, but to do so they had to bend the laws of time and space to their breaking point. As a result, “anachronisms” have been created and dispersed throughout time and space, and since given there isn’t a Doctor to help in this universe, it’s up to the Legends to repair the damage they caused, and probably cause a little bit more while they’re at it.
DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Arthur Darvil, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Frank Drameh, Victor Garber, Nick Zano and Brandon Routh.
The show is created and produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg, Phil Klemmer and Sarah Schechter.
The new series returns Tuesday, October 10th at the new, later time slot of 9PM.
