Fasten your seatbelts! Next year there’ll be six DC inspired theme park rides that’ll be based on three iconic heroes which will be opening in Six Flags. The first one, which will open in Jackson, New Jersey, is inspired by Cyborg and it will be named Cyborg Cyber Spin. Its movements will be patterned to a gyroscope and will provide riders “an unrelenting and intense anti-gravity experience as it whirls guests on three axes high above the ground.”
The Cyborg Cyber Spin will take riders up to 70 feet high in the air in over-the-shoulder harnesses grouped at 24 per vehicle. The attraction is planned to be placed along the Metropolis section of Six Flags Great Adventure, which will be adjacent to the Justice League: Battle of Metropolis.
The president of the park, Mr. Neal Thurman, took pride as he advertised the upcoming addition to their park.
“Six Flags leads the industry in thrill ride innovation; it is part of our DNA. Six Flags Great Adventure is home to an unparalleled collection of record-breaking attractions and we are excited to be adding Cyborg Cyber Spin, the first of its kind in North America. Like the Super Hero Cyborg of the Justice League, this futuristic, hi-tech ride will be unlike anything our guests have ever seen or experienced before and it is the perfect new thrill ride to expand our new Metropolis section.”
And that’s not all they have. They are also including five DC inspired thrill rides based on Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn. The Wonder Woman Golden Lasso which will debut in Six Flags Fiesta Texas will introduce the world’s first single rail coaster. Riders will be seated single file and they will be transported along a single I-beam rail which speeds up to 50 miles per hour. It will also include a 90-degree drop, two airtime hills, a 180-degree stall, and a zero-g roll.
In Six Flags Mexico, there’ll be a Wonder Woman themed 4D Free Fly coaster. It will be dubbed as Wonder Woman Coaster which will lift riders up a 12-story, 90 degree hill and then propels them backwards, forwards, and head-over-heels down an undulating vertically-stacked track.
Meanwhile, Six Flags New England and Six Flags Over Texas will debut a new ride, dubbed Harley Quinn Spinsanity. This pendulum ride will take riders to heights up to 147 feet and speeds up to 70 mph.
Finally, North California’s Six Flags Discovery Kingdom will open a Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster. This inverted looping coaster which has dueling trains will take riders into a vertical, figure eight track at speeds up to 70 mph.
