To celebrate the release of Justice League, DC has announced the details of its new official Justice League Day.
On November 18, over one thousand comic shops, Bookstores, libraries and even Six Flags theme parks as well as partners around the globe will host Justice League Day. Included in the celebration will be a reprint of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s Justice League #1 with a new cover by Ivan Reis and Marcelo Maiolo that features the characters as they appear in the film. Not only will it be available for free at comic shops, digital retailers will have the issue as a free download.
If you see the movie at participating AMC theaters in IMAX from Nov 16-19 you can get your hands on a special edition comic, a reprint of Justice League #15 also by Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis. Cinemark and Regal cinemas will be offering free comic download codes.
To keep the festivities going, temporary tattoos and fan focused giveaways will be available at select retailers. The tattoos will be of the film’s logo as well as the emblems of the different League members.
Books-A-Million will be getting in on the action by offering a buy-one-get-one 50% deal for Justice League titles and Rebirth collections from Nov 14-27. This sale will also include 160 e-books and issues if you like your content digitally. Some of the titles included will be the New 52 and Rebirth collections of Aquaman, Batman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash and Cyborg.
If that wasn’t enough, DC Collectibles will be offering 12″ character statues of all the League members in the film. These will be available wherever comics are sold.
Justice League fans are going to have a lot to be happy about this November, so be sure to check out the film on November 17th, and have fun on Justice League Day!
