Summary

When you’re fighting lunacy itself, then lunatics are the only bunch for the job! Dastardly and Muttley are the world’s last, best hope—will our band of heroes stop War Pig One and reverse the effects of Unstabilium on the world? And at what cost? Find out in the grand finale to DASTARDLY AND MUTTLEY.

Positives

The thing that grabs you about the first scene is that the president is a red fox controlling a room full of humans in the Oval Office. Sounds absurd, right? But this makes you wonder just how plausible this storyline can be in a real-world situation. Our heroes decide, in order to save the world, to do their own version of “Thelma and Louise”, giving fans the kind of chaos they’ve grown to love about this series.

The subtle change in art styles by Mauricet throughout the book proves they are as adept at storytelling as Ellis is. Lastly, the ending ties the story in a neat little bow, but I would not mind seeing more from these characters.

Negatives

There are no negatives really worth mentioning in this issue.

Verdict

Buy, as this story is what proves that the creative team are masters at their craft
