Summary
Archie and Jughead’s plan to save their girls from the dangers of the big city is foiled when Reggie tags along…and “Harley and Ivy” end up needing to rescue their saviors. But things can always get worse, and they do when Reggie leads some real Gotham gangsters back home to Riverdale!
Positives
We finally get to see Sabrina interact with the body swapped Betty and Veronica, as both struggle with their new bodies. Sabrina seems most at ease with her powers, out of all the characters in this book. Once the characters get back to normal, after switching back to their own bodies, both duos exchange some interesting dialogue, which is truly the strength of Andreyko’s and Dini’s writing. The art by Braga is both sleek and aesthetically pleasing, as her art makes the pages look glossier than what it is printed on. The betrayal at the end of the issue is a pretty cool twist, as the reader gets an explanation of what had been going on the whole story.
Negatives
There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.
Verdict
This issue, answers many questions that readers have had since the first issue, serving as the penultimate issue, and one fans won’t soon forget.
