Justice League and Aquaman star Jason Momoa took the time at this past week’s CinemaCon to declare The LEGO Batman Movie star Will Arnett as his favorite Dark Knight.
Since the days of Adam West, there have been several actors to don the infamous cape and cowl: Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, and finally Momoa’s Justice League costar, Ben Affleck. The very fact that he starred alongside an actor whose interim performance as Batman earned high praise from the fans makes his nomination of Arnett a little bizarre.
Arnett was acting as moderator at the Warner Bros. presentation at CinemaCon, during which Jason Momoa was in attendance with his Aquaman costars and crew for their press docket. During the wait, he declared, “You’re the best f—-ing Batman.”
There are several possibilities as to why, from his genuine approval of the animated film, or just to mess with either Arnett or Affleck. Whatever the reason, it earned big laughs.
