One month away from the much-anticipated DC Artist Alley, anxious fans get their first look at three additions to the vinyl line, DC Super Heroes, scheduled for December 2018.
A cutting-edge line of vinyl figures designed by artists under the DC Artist Alley umbrella, DC Collectibles has unveiled preview images of The Flash, Nightwing, and Batgirl, all in colored and black-and-white variants.
DC Artist Alley is a division of DC Collectibles that has several talented designers recruited to develop cutting-edge, unique vinyl depictions of DC’s iconic heroes. For the presented three display models, Flash is designed by Conneticut’s own Chris Uminga, while Batgirl’s look is attributed to San Francisco’s Sho Murase, and “streetwear” style Nightwing belongs to comics creator HaiNaNa “Nooligan” Saulque.
DC Collectibles Executive Creative Director Jim Fletcher could not be more enthusiastic or supportive of his staff if he tried. “The DC Artists Alley line marks our entry into the designer toy market, and we couldn’t be happier with the fan and retailer reception we’ve received thus far. [The] first wave has nearly sold out at the retailer level, and the figures haven’t even hit stores yet. We’re doubling down on this excitement by adding three new characters to the 2018 lineup.”
The debut of these figures on the market will be preceded by these artists’ designs of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman from June through November.
Pre-orders of these presented figures will begin on May 22, 2018.
