Review: My Adventures With Superman 2×07 – “Olsen’s Eleven”

Summary
My Adventures With Superman 2×07: Lois and Jimmy recruit mercenaries and mad scientists to help them steal a spaceship out from under the nose of Task Force X.
Positives
My Adventures With Superman 2×07 really shows us the depths Jimmy and Lois will go to save Clark. With Superman being kidnapped by Kara, Lois goes to Jimmy for help with a plan for rescue. I really admired Lois’ determination in this episode in her attempt to save Superman. Lois and Jimmy end up recruiting a mercenary and two mad scientists to their cause for a good old fashioned heist! Having to break into a top-secret laboratory that’s being run by Alexander Luthor, the team makes their way in – just as Amanda Waller shows up.
Negatives
While I thought this episode held up pretty well, considering Superman wasn’t around at all, it was definitely missing something not having him there. Lois and Jimmy had to defend themselves against Amanda Waller and her army inside of Cadmus; however, thanks to the intervention of some unlikely friends, they make it safely to the ship.
Verdict
If anything, My Adventures With Superman 2×07 does a good job of showing the friendship between Lois, Clark, and Jimmy. Lois and Jimmy have literally left the planet to find Clark and bring him home. Waller seems impressed by the drones Alexander Luthor employed against the intruders with Lois and Jimmy and demand that they’re powered up fully. It’s a safe bet to say that when Superman returns, Metropolis will be an entirely different city.
