FOX8 has released an international promo clip for The Flash’s second season.
The Flash runs around the globe in this all-new international promo from FOX8, leaving a trail of blue lightning instead of his iconic yellow-colored streak.
Could this mean all-new abilities for The Flash? Maybe he is going so fast the lightning his body generates has changed, or this could be just misdirection and who we see running across Central City and the globe is another character altogether.
The Future Flash from the New 52
Names like Max Mercury and Cobalt Blue, and even the classic Pollux from the old Flash television series come to mind.
This blue lightning could also mean we may be able to see the Future Flash, a character that appeared recently on The Flash comic from the ‘New 52’ relaunch of DC Comics. The Future Flash sports a blue futuristic version of the current costume and leaves a trail of blue lightning.
