Earlier today, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment announced that two new voices have been added to the upcoming animated features, Teen Titans: Judas Contract, in the forms of Christina Ricci and Miguel Ferrer. Ricci will be the voice of Terra, while Ferrer will voice Deathstroke, The Terminator.
DC Entertainment has also provided two new still images from the film that give fans a first look at the characters these two will portray, as well as other characters being featured:
Teen Titans: Judas Contract is loosely based on the 1984 comic book storyline of the same name, in which newcomer Titan, Terra was revealed to be a spy working for Deathstroke to aid him in capturing the Teen Titans to complete a contract for H.I.V.E.. Fans will also remember a large portion season 2 of the Teen Titans animated television series being based on this story, with this version being drastically modified from the source material.
Christina Ricci is best known for her role as Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family and its sequel Addams Family Values. Although most of her work has been in live action films and series’, she has done voice acting in notable works such as The Simpsons and Speed Racer: The Videogame.
Ferrer has had much experience with DC’s animation department, from film to television. He gave a voice to Vandal Savage in Young Justice, Aquaman and Weather Wizard on Superman: The Animated Series and Martian Manhunter in Justice League: The New Frontier
Though no official release date has been publicly announced, it has been confirmed that Teen Titans: Judas Contract will be released later this year.
