Shazam still appears to be maintaining the schedule set in October 2014 by Warner Bros and their slate of movies and release dates. Director David F. Sandberg has confirmed that Shazam is still on track to meet the April 5, 2019 release date given way back in 2014.
There have been no details on casting yet but stay tuned as Shazam is in the middle of pre-production right now and is expected to start shooting next year.
