Ben Affleck To Play Batman In Man of Steel Sequel

Just revealed tonight, Academy Award winner Ben Affleck will be joining Henry Cavill as Batman in the upcoming Man of Steel sequel.

After weeks of speculation we now know who Batman will be.

“Affleck is no stranger to the superhero genre. He played the title role in Marvel’s 2003 film, Daredevil, and embodied George Reeves — who starred in the 1950s TV series Adventures of Superman — in 2006’s Hollywoodland.  The move also furthers Affleck’s relationship with Warner Bros. after last year’s Academy Award-winning Argo and the crime drama, Live By Night, on which he serves as both a director and co-writer.”

Z

Z is pretty much a guy who fancies himself some comics. Batman, Green Lantern, Superman, it dosen't matter. We don't know much about Z, but he seems like a cool guy.

Cannot express my feelings in words, only with this…

He is a good actor but he doesn’t strike as Bruce Wayne. Though Ledger never striked as Joker to me before an actual movie so i say we got a chance and that has to be enough. Even though i saw better actors on this specific role.

I think it’s a great idea. I saw him in Daredevil and thought Affleck needed a
character more fleshed out. Batman fits the bill. In addition, like many fans,
I would like to see Nightwing with him own full feature film.
