Female Director sought for Wonder Woman film

Warner Brothers recently released their full slate of DC superhero movies up to 2020, where a solo Wonder Woman movie is scheduled for 2017. Now there are reports that Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman film, which will star Gal Gadot, want to bring in a female director to take charge of Wonder Woman’s silver screen debut.

Wonder Woman will be spinning out of the much anticipated Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. With the move to a Wonder Woman film, it shows that Warner Bros. are addressing the criticism and comments relating to lack of diversity in superhero movies.
