During a recent visit to the London set of WB/DC’s upcoming film, Justice League, several news sources were treated to some sneak peeks at the film.  Two of these happened to be a look at the official logo and also the official synopsis for the film.

The logo is fairly simple, as you can see from the images below.  The only really interesting thing about it is the star shape between the I and the C in “JUSTICE”.  Although, while on set, it’s been reported that the director and producer chairs had an icon version of this logo, with the letters “JL” featuring the star in the middle and a shield crest around it, same font as the logos belbow (with white text on black backing).

The official synopsis, however, is much more interesting.  Check it out:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Directed by Zack Snyder, this marks the big screen debut of the Justice League, featuring an all-star lineup: Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher.

The supporting cast not listed here also includes J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon, Willem Dafoe as Vulko, Amber Heard as Mera, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Joe Morton as Dr. Silas Stone, and various cast members from Wonder Woman.

Justice League is scheduled to hit theaters on November 17, 2017.
