Preview: Supergirl 2×07-The Darkest Places

On the next episode of Supergirl, Kara tries to rescue Mon-El while an arrest warrant is issued for Guardian and the Martian Manhunter suffers side effects from the white martian blood.

I am curious how this is going to justify the police being completely fine with Supergirl but hating Guardian. There is mention of murder in the trailer but James Olsen is not a killer so I’m not sure what is going on there. Maybe someone is framing him.

I am excited to see Supergirl vs. Martian Manhunter. That could be a cool fight. And I appreciate how quickly this white martian plot is moving along.

“The Darkest Places” is written by Robert L. Rovner and Paula Yoo and directed by Glen Winter. The episode airs Monday November 21 at 8:00 p.m. Eastern time on the CW.

It’s not a matter of the police “hating” Guardian. Episode synopses have already pointed out that another vigilante was responsible for the murder but the police don’t know that. Plus, Supergirl works with the police and usually tackles problems they can’t solve alone. That’s why they’re “perfectly fine with Supergirl.” Vigilantes like Guardian, by definition, work by taking the law into their own hands.

Plus, it looks like I was one of the first to predict there would be side effects from J’onn’s blood transfusion. Yay me!
