Summary
The Justice League has been captured! Taken in by the Suicide Squad the League finds themselves all locked up in cells each designed based on their powers and abilities. On his way to transport, Batman breaks free and goes after Amanda Waller. However this was all part of Waller’s plan the entire time. Just what exactly does Amanda Waller have planned for the League?

Positives
Joshua Williamson really shows off how badass Amanda Waller is in this issue! We get to see how much in control of the DC Universe Waller really is, and we get a behind-the-scenes look at how she operates which is awesome! Now we get the introduction of a third team by Max Lord, and I can’t wait to see how the next issue plays out between them all! One thing that really sticks out to me is how enraged Superman was at the mention of Max Lord. It seems that Superman has a particular history with Max and I’m hoping that Williamson at least gives us a brief look at what that story could be.

Verdict
Justice League Vs Suicide Squad #3 is a great read! You have plenty of action, plenty of heroes and villains, and just when you think it couldn’t get any better — it does! I’m looking forward to seeing exactly how Waller’s Suicide Squad and the Justice League work together especially since the team’s best two tacticians, Batman and Deadshot, are bitter enemies. Also I think there has to be more to Max Lord’s plan than just simply killing Waller. Throughout the course of the issues Max is slowly enacting a plan piece by piece, and his own team has no idea what he’s doing. He’s keeping the master plan all to himself, and it seems that it may be revealed next issue as well. So far I’m enjoying the series and expecting the next one to be just as amazing.
