Summary

With Diana recovering from her gunshot wound, Jaime must team up with the Amazons to protect Paradise Island.

Positives

Cat Staggs’ cover is fantastic. She always does stellar work and this cover is no exception. Jaime and Diana look great and I love the background work.

The interior art is by Judit Tondora with colors by Roland Pilcz. It’s great as well. I love how colorful and vibrant it is; Pilcz does a great job. The characters are all expressive and Paradise Island looks gorgeous.

I like how much Wonder Girl gets to do in this issue. Although she wasn’t in the show very much, I always liked her. She was a fun presence. It’s cool to see her kick ass as well as she does.

The action is well done both in the writing and the art. It’s paced well with a good set of stakes. We’ve seen Paradise Island invaded before but I don’t think an army of robots have ever done it. It’s intense and the fembots are a genuine threat.

I said this in my last review but I really like how Andy Mangels is incorporating comic book elements into the show. It’s a lot of fun.

Negatives

There are no negatives worth mentioning in this issue.

Verdict

This is another great issue. This has been a really fun team up; Mangels has really taken advantage of both properties to tell a fun story. The art is great with cool action as well as some wonderful scenery. It’s a lot of fun and I highly recommend reading the issue.
