Writer: Sholly Fisch

Artists: David Alvarez

Summary

Hoagy’s Alley—haunted?! Scooby will have to form an unlikely cat-and-dog alliance with Top Cat’s gang of con-artist felines to unmask the freeloading phantom—unless, of course, the ghost is real! .

Positives

Scooby-Doo and The Gang get hired to find out if Hoagy’s Ghost is real. The gang teams up with Top Cat and his clique of felines who just so happened to be con-artists. What starts out as scam by Top Cat becomes a serious deal when they are haunted by what seems to be a real ghost. What Both teams end up finding out is that real estate developer was hoping the rumors were true, as they were trying to scare away the “undesirables”.

This comic definitely captures what fans of both cartoon franchises have loved about these characters for years

Negatives

The writer is more preoccupied with telling jokes than developing the story.

Verdict

Buy if you are a fan of both Scooby-Doo and Top Cat, otherwise, it’s take it or leave it.
