Superman himself has spoken.
Sitting down with ABC News Peter Travers, Henry Cavill expressed hopes that time is taken to do a Justice League film properly:
“Justice League could be great — if done correctly. It’s a very tough one to do, because the DC comic heroes are all godlike in their power. In this real world universe, or realer setting, we’re telling our story in, it’s going to be tough to achieve that. It has to be done very delicately, with a lot of thought. And so it won’t be right away, certainly not, or I hope it’s not, anyway. It may take some time of building up other movies and other characters, and then introduce together, in one way or another.”
Rumored to be in development for a 2015 release, there has been very little hard evidence from DC/WB about releasing a Justice League movie, though Zack Snyder, director of Man of Steel, has already begun working on that movie’s followup.
