Jeff Parker’s digital-first comic Batman ’66 will be getting a variant cover by Kevin Maguire featuring none other than the villainous team-up of Penguin and Mr. Freeze!
Jeff Parker discussed the perils of getting the tone just right in an interview with CBR earlier in the month, “There’s nothing inherently funny when I write down the plot point. It’s once you let the characters run around loose and you’re getting the way Adam West would do Batman that it comes together. You know, Commissioner Gordon and Chief O’Hara immediately would give up and just call him ‘Batman.'”
Batman ’66 #2, written by Jeff Parker with interior art by Ty Templeton, releases Wednesday, August 21st.
