SPOILERS AHEAD Ever wonder why Lois Lane doesn’t realize it’s Superman behind the glasses? According to Henry Cavill, that problem won’t exist in the Man of Steel universe.
ComicBookMovie recently published an article detailing some of the aspects of the Lois/Clark relationship as told by Henry Cavill. In the article, Cavill says that it would be ridiculous for Lois Lane to ignore “a guy who looks just like Superman, behaves just like him, and has the same kind of mannerisms and behavior.”
This has often been a plot hole in Superman fiction, leading fans to (lovingly) joke at the fact that Lois Lane, Pulitzer winning investigative reporter, can’t recognize her boyfriend in glasses. This was, of course, remedied trough the course of Man of Steel, as Lois finds out exactly who Clark Kent is. What does this mean for the pair?
