Tuesday saw the release of the highly anticipated game from DC Entertainment and WB Games called “Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure”. In the game, you help Maxwell solve puzzles as well as battling enemies from the DC Universe. You can also use characters that are well known (ex: Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern etc) or more obscure ones (ex: Amazing Man, Ambush Bug, Arm Fall Off Boy, lesser known Green Lanterns etc). In addition, when playing the game, you can choose which version of Superman, Batman, etc to use in battle ranging from Elseworlds stories like Kingdom Come, and Red Son to the DCAU like Batman Beyond. In honor of the occasion, DC Comics posted homage covers based on 2011’s Justice League #1, 1940’s Batman #1, 1938’s Action Comics #1, 1993’s Batman #497, 1986’s Crisis on Infinite Earths #7, and 1960’s The Brave and the Bold #28.
