In mid 2012 when it was supposed to air new episodes of Young Justice and Green Lantern the Animated Series, Cartoon Network pulled both shows from its lineup for the remainder of 2012 for no apparent reason. In 2013, it was announced that both shows are going to be cancelled and replaced with Beware the Batman and Teen Titans Go!. For the first few months, fans enjoyed both of the new shows and even created new fans along the way. Speaking of fans, if you enjoy Beware the Batman so far, or watching Batman, Katana, and Alfred face off against lesser-known adversaries as well as facing the League of Assassins (and possibly Ra’s al Ghul), then you’re going to be surely disappointed. BIG TIME. According to the Cartoon Network: “Currently, ‘Beware the Batman’ is no longer on our air. DC Nation will continue on Saturday mornings at 10/9c with new exclusive shorts and a full hour of encore episodes of ‘Teen Titans Go!'” Just like last year with Young Justice and Green Lantern, this Saturday was supposed to be a new episode “Attraction” featuring the return of Magpie. On Anthony Ruivivar’s Twitter, he responded to some questions about the situation saying: “[Cartoon Network] is currently not airing new episodes. Stay tuned and thanks for your continued support.”
