DC Entertainment Making New Low Budget Movies?

It looks like DC Entertainment is giving the green light for characters such as Deathstroke, Booster Gold, and The Suicide Squad to receive the movie treatment.

With an open window to be utilized  before “Batman vs. Superman” comes out in 2015, DC Entertainment announced they will be developing “low-budget” films for the Spring and Fall of 2014. This gives them a great opportunity to expand the DC Universe  just in time for Batfleck and Superman duke it out.

Here’s to hoping that we might see a Booster Gold and Blue Beetle movie and make fanboys swoon everywhere.
