A couple weeks ago we saw a teaser of The CW’s Flash costume and we collectively geeked out. Now a couple hours ago the first full image of the Flash costume hit the web, check it out below!
The costume was designed by award winner Colleen Atwood, who designed Stephen Amell’s “Arrow” costume as well.
The show has already begun filming, still up for a spot in the CW’s 2014-2015 lineup. The pilot director David Nutter said in the press release, “I hope the fans who treasure the character are as excited as we are by what costume designer Colleen Atwood has achieved with this latest version of The Flash’s iconic suit.”
The show flaunts a stellar supporting cast headlined with Jesse Martin, Candice Patton, and John Wesley Shipp in a mysterious role that we’re hoping rhymes with “Ray Barrick”.
Below are a couple of pictures taken from the filming of the first episode, we don’t see Gustin in his Flash costume yet, but we’re seeing him running and falling, signs of things to come hopefully. Maybe not so much falling though.
Looks like things are “off and running”, forgive the puns, on the Flash set so get excited people!
