The Scarecrow is unleashed in an exclusive DLC in the all-new trailer for ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’.

Batman: Arkham Knight is an upcoming video game developed by Rocksteady Studios and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It will be available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One video game consoles, and Microsoft Windows (Unfortunately no PS3 or Xbox 360 versions guys). The game centers on the Dark Knight’s last stand against the most dangerous criminals the city has to offer. This includes the eponymous and mysterious Arkham Knight whose identity is unknown as of yet. The game is the last installment in the award-winning franchise conceived by Rocksteady back in 2009. The franchise is praised for its visuals and story, and for bringing the Dark Knight into the spotlight of the video game community.

The trailer was released in two forms. First we have the ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ – Ace Chemicals Infiltration Trailer, Part 3. This trailer concludes the trilogy of trailers promoting the level of the game which centers its plot in Ace Chemicals, the iconic location where the Joker was created by accident. The last minute of the trailer allows us to take a look at the new DLC pack that centers on Batman struggling to survive inside a Scarecrow-induced nightmare. The DLC for Scarecrow also has its own one-minute trailer.

Here is the one-minute version of the trailer for the Scarecrow DLC if you want to skip the whole Ace Chemicals mumbo jumbo.

Avid comic book fans would recognize the plot the trailer wants to showcase: Batman running from his fears or blazing to fight them is a familiar scenario in the comics, most of the times the Scarecrow fights the Dark Knight. To be honest, it looks visually stunning. Prepare to fight your worst fears in this new DLC! Plus, we get to fight a gigantic Scarecrow – so that is always good.

Batman: Arkham Knight will be released for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 2, 2015. Too bad the DLC is PS4 Exclusive, not available for Xbox-One.
