As 2014 draws to a close, IGN have presented their top 10 Batman moments of the year. It’s fair to say they got it pretty accurate in my opinion. It’s been a huge year with it being the 75th anniversary alone. The year has gone so quick for myself being a huge Batman fan, I’ve been constantly entertained and it’s been a pleasure to report and share all the Batman news we have covered for our fans throughout 2014.
I decided to challenge myself and name my top 3 Batman moments of 2014, and with so much to pick from it was incredibly difficult. Here we go:
1. Celebration of the 75th year of the Batman
Forget about the old Marvel v DC talk, all comic fans should be celebrating such a phenomenal milestone. Batman touches so many people around the world in so many different ways. The character has transformed itself throughout the journey and has been the cornerstone of DC’s cinematic success in recent times.  We have had so much to celebrate, over above everything else this is my number 1.
2. News of Rocksteady’s future release: Batman Arkham Knight
Rocksteady has brought us one of the most popular gaming franchises of all time, dating back to 2009 when Batman: Arkham Asylum arrived, through to Batman: Arkham City in 2011, and now we can expect the mind blowing conclusion in Arkham Knight. I am buying a PS4 just to play the much anticipated game.
3. Batman Eternal
This story has brought so many characters into the fold, and with Hush at the helm of destroying Gotham and everything Batman cares about this is one of the best series I have read in a while.
