NBC has not canceled the critically acclaimed but ratings-challenged Constantine television series.
Thanks to showrunner Daniel Cerone, via Twitter, he revealed to us the fan-favorite show is not canceled at all. However, a definitive decision will not be made until May, to finally reveal if the show will come back for a second season or descend into oblivion.
In regards of the future of the show, Cerone says:
“Writers will meet and discuss” . “Wherever we go, [though], our hope would be to embrace serialization.”
To support the show, showrunner Daniel Cerone explains to fans they should watch it on the available platforms like Hulu, where you can access the last five episodes aired, which are free to watch.
It is also available on Amazon and iTunes. Cerone says any way you can watch the show makes it look more attractive for NBC or whichever other party is interested in the show – in case NBC passes the torch to another platform or network.
I sure hope so Season 2 becomes a reality. DC’s darkest show, based on Vertigo’s Hellblazer deserves a chance, don’t you think?
