Arrow – Vengeance, the first novel based on the hit show Arrow, has been delayed. Originally slated for March 31, the novel is now set to release on September 29.
Based on the DC Comics character Green Arrow, Arrow follows billionaire Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) who, after spending five years marooned on a remote island, returns home to right the wrongs of his family and save his city. Arrow is currently airing its third season on The CW Wednesday nights at 8 ET/PT.
Arrow –Vengeance is written by Oscar Balderrama and Lauren Certo. Little to nothing is known about the plot or whether the novel will be written from Oliver’s point of view. Will the novel be a basic retelling of the TV series, or will it tell a new story? What really happened to Oliver Queen during the five years he was away? Will Slade Wilson make his return as Deathstroke to exact his vengeance as the cover implies? Readers will have to wait six more months before they can getting the full story.
You can pre-order the book on Amazon for $7.49 for the Kindle version or $7.99 for the Mass Market Paperback by Titan Books.
