Stephen Amell has confirmed that there will most likely be six seasons of Arrow, in a recent interview with SuperHeroHype.

During a quick 2 minute interview on the red carpet at PaleyFest, Amell stated that the show is aiming to do six seasons. This is provided, Amell jokingly added, that he doesn’t say anything stupid in the meantime.

Amell also talked about his time working with Brandon Routh (Ray Palmer) and Grant Gustin (Barry Allen), saying he enjoys the opportunity to play things a little more humorous.

“Oliver is pretty sullen and serious a lot of the time and I like working with Brandon and Grant because I get to play humor, even in deadpan looks, which is something that I really enjoy.”

– Stephen Amell.

SuperHeroHype also got to talk to some of the other stars from both Arrow and The Flash, including Gustin Grant and Cadice Patton. According to Patton and Grant it looks like time travel is on the books for the final episodes of The Flash, maybe even the Cosmic Treadmill!

“The treadmill that we’ve introduced at STAR Labs will someday become the Cosmic Treadmill. Yeah.”

– Gustin Grant.

“You’ll see her investigating more of STAR Labs and what’s going on with Dr. Wells. And of course, the issue of her love triangle with Barry and Eddie and we’ll delve into a little time travel. There’s a lot.”

– Candice Patton.

SuperHeroHype also confirmed with executive producer Marc Guggenheim that Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Arrow‘s Felicity Smoak, will not be leaving the show. During their very brief chat with him, Guttemheim described rumours that Rickards would be leaving as “crazy”. Good news for any Felicity fans who may have been worrying about her future on the show.
