Ben Affleck Makes Batman Reference At Senate Meeting

Ben Affleck, who we all know will be playing the role of Batman in 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, made a reference to the character while speaking before the United States Senate earlier this week.

In his opening statement concerning diplomacy and its importance in society, Affleck referred to U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy as his “Batman co-star.” As many know, Patrick Leahy will have a cameo in Dawn of Justice next year. One little known fact: Leahy actually had cameo appearances in The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

Although Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice doesn’t come to theaters until March 25th of next year, you can check out Affleck’s references to the Caped Crusader in the video below:
