The Flash’s inaugural season is in its final stretch. Only four more episodes remain and each one looks to push the envelope even more. So far the show has introduced and included a vast array of DC villains and heroes. A good portion of The Rouges have been featured in numerous episodes. Things with Harrison Wells/Reverse-Flash are finally coming to a head as Barry and the team get closer to unraveling Wells’ secrets. Just last night during “Who is Harrison Wells?” Barry, Cisco, and Caitlin found Wells’ secret room containing the yellow suit and the paper from the future that reads, “Flash Missing in Crisis.” As the season gets closer and closer to the end one more iconic Flash villain is left to terrorize Central City.

In two weeks the episode “Grodd Lives” will finally be here. This season has given fans little glimpses of young Grodd, a voice here, and a partial shot there. On May 5th Gorilla Grodd will at long last make his official debut. Take a look at the official synopsis for the upcoming episode.

GRODD RETURNS! — Barry (Grant Gustin) must deal with the Reverse Flash’s (Tom Cavanagh) latest threat to a member of the group. To make matter worse, Dr. Wells unleashes Grodd on the city in order to distract Barry and the team. Joe (Jesse L. Martin), Barry and Cisco (Carlos Valdes) head down into the sewers to catch Grodd but the gorilla quickly gets the upper hand after he kidnaps Joe. Iris (Candice Patton) and Barry have a heart to heart talk. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Kai Yu Wu (#121). Original airdate 5/5/2015.

Along with the episode rundown CW has provided a few pictures to offer a sneak peek at “Grodd Lives.” You can see Joe, Barry, and Cisco searching the sewers for their foe. Grodd could be hiding around any corner.

This episode, like every other, will be a must watch. The combination of Reverse-Flash and Gorilla Grodd ensures a stunning hour of television. Many Flash fans have been waiting a long time to see Grodd in the flesh and now the wait is almost over. The powerful, mind-controlling gorilla will soon be set loose.
