An enemy of my enemy is a friend, but a friend can sometimes be an enemy. Barry Allen, The Flash, plans on asking Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller) for help in getting the metahumans out of the particle accelerator. It may not be the smartest move on Flash’s part asking help from a notorious thief and bank robber, especially considering Captain Cold’s threats that made Barry’s identity revealed to him through the threat of Cisco’s brother Dante’s life.
With everything we have seen in the past few weeks — the death of Cisco, Barry’s time leap, and the depths of how evil Harrison Wells, a.k.a. Reverse Flash, truly is — whoever says that The Flash is dull or can’t pack a lot into 40 minutes needs to actually sit down and watch this series! So with Barry doing his first time jump it begs the question of what all the Flash will change on purpose and undo in the future as a ripple effect. And with Barry having to deal with the new time line and the knowledge that Captain Cold knows that Barry is the Flash, he strikes a pact with him, after which Barry utters “rogues gallery” as they part ways. It is with this new found agreement that he has turned to Captain Cold for help in saving the metahumans – Weather Wizard, Mist, Peek-A-Boo, and Death Bolt – and try to free them from Harrison Wells’ evil plans. However, nothing can go completely according to plan when you have Reverse Flash and Heatwave and Captain Cold.
