If there was ever a question on whether or not Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad were connected, maybe this will put the inquiry to rest.

During this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the stars and directors of next year’s highly anticipated DC Comics adaptations got together for a secret meeting. And world domination wasn’t the topic of discussion. Instead, it was a photo shoot for the publication version of The Hollywood Reporter, which hit newsstands on July 24.

For the most part, everyone played nice. There was some playful ribbing and banter between the two camps though. The crew of Task Force X joked that they would eat all of the food at the craft services table before the goodie-goodies of Dawn of Justice. Ben Affleck rebutted that he wouldn’t wait on the slackers of Suicide Squad to take their group photo.

In total, 17 actors and directors from both productions were present. Missing from the photo was Jared Leto. A momentous occasion to be sure, but wouldn’t it be great if they were in costume?

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits US theaters on March 25, 2016.

Suicide Squad arrives in US theaters on August 5, 2016.
