Details have been released for the celebration of this years “Batman Day.”
On September 26th, fans can get a free copy of Batman Endgame Special Edition #1 at their local Batman reading hangout, such as comic shops, libraries and bookstores. The issue, which includes an 8-page preview of upcoming series Batman and Robin Eternal, will ship with various variant covers for comic shops and bookstores such as Barnes & Noble, Apple iTunes, Best Buy, FYE, Books a Million, Hot Topic, Gamestop, Hastings, Spencers, Google Play, Amazon, ComiXology, and Nook, with retailer specific covers. Certain retailers will offer promotional giveaways and special deals on Batman products as well, to commemorate the day.
Batman Day partners will include Warner Bros. Consumer Products with licensees Scholastic, Bendon, Penguin Random House, Capstone, DK Publishing, DC Collectibles, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, WaterTower Music and Warner Bros. Home Entertainment. The partners will provide tie-ins for the event to further the celebrations of the dark knight.
