If you’re excited for the upcoming Supergirl on CBS, you’ll be excited to hear that DC has announced they will reprint the 2011 Supergirl #1 to coincide with the launch of the new show. Supergirl #1 is written by Michael Green and Mike Johnson with art by Mahmud Asrar and Dan Green. Perhaps even more exciting is that it will cost just $1!
This will be particularly nice for new fans, as Supergirl #1 was a part of the 2011 New 52 reboot, and thus should be a great jumping on point for anyone who has little to no background on Supergirl’s story. Doubled with the affordable price, this will be a fantastic way to help fans get to know Supergirl.
The comic is slated to hit shelves October 21st, 2015. The show will air on October 26th, 2015.
