A post by VUE Entertainment about the synopsis on Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice reveals that both Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent will be fighting against more than one villain in Metropolis. In their synopsis they say that it will be more powerful than Superman or Batman. The next clue they give us is that this new villain will be in
the form of a third man.
So what this tells us is that there are going to be three threats in the movie. This big show down in Metropolis means there is a clear division among the people on the view of Superman’s true purpose on Earth. While some still see him as a knight and shining spandex others see him as an evil overlord that threatens all of mankind. This is shown in the trailer when Clark Kent interviews Bruce Wayne about Batman in Gotham to which he turns it around on him. Basically calling Superman out as a threat to mankind.
The Daily Planet criticizing those who think they are above the law is a little hypocritical wouldn’t you say? Considering every time your hero saves a cat out of a tree you write a puff piece editorial about an alien that could burn the whole place down…maybe it’s the Gotham City in me. We just have a bad history with freaks dressed as clowns.
The synopsis also points to rumors claiming that Lex Luthor is going to be the main antagonist and mastermind behind all of the chaos happening. The big thing that Lex is reportedly doing is suiting up in armor to battle Superman. Then there are other reports of Lex creating Doomsday from General Zod’s corpse. One thing is for sure that some potential spoilers have been shown already in social media. Such as on Twitter where Juan, aka: BiASED Juan tweeted a picture of a three pack action figures, labeled as Batman Superman Lex Luthor. On the box it even gives a label to the suit as “Mega-Armored Lex Luthor”.
Either way this is going to be an intense film for not just Batman or Superman fans but everyone who has a pulse! So mark your calendars to March 25th for the release of this epic film.
