Greg Capullo announced Batman may debut all-new costume on the 50th issue of his and Snyder’s Batman run.

2011 saw new beginnings as the entirety of DC Comics went through a reboot, with slight changes on the origins and stories of beloved heroes and villains. However the Batman mythos is one of the few that remained almost untouched. Despite not having mayor changes in his history, the dark knight did debut a new suit of armor alongside his Justice League team-mates.

New 52 Design

Recently, via Twitter, artist Greg Capullo announced Batman may be donning a brand new suit by issue 50th of the current hit Batman run.

Details about the suit are still unknown as it appears it has yet to be approved by DC.

Before we draw conclusions, let’s take a look at some of the recent iterations of the bat-suit and see what is good about these designs and what could be improved story-wise and design-wise.
