With all the rumors and whispers that stirred up when the announcement of Ben Affleck was going to be involved with Batman V Superman we naturally wondered if it was going to be as an actor or as an actor/director. Ben hasn’t exactly come out and say no, but when USA Today asked him about a possible solo Batman film he became “cagey”. Affleck did comment about his time with Zack Snyder and being inspired by him in the interview with USA Today stating,

I’ll just say going through the process, I would never have imagined that I could or would direct a movie like this. And in working with (Batman v Superman director Zack Snyder) and seeing what he did and watching him every day, I got really inspired by that and by seeing the scope on which he was telling the story, by seeing what he was able to do with this kind of mythic story on a grand scale.

To recap this basically means it is a strong maybe but he can’t agree or disagree about him doing a solo Batman film. This just means that we do get to see him in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad that come out in a couple of months roughly. So keep your calendars marked for March 25th when Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and August 5th for Suicide Squad.
