Guardian is heading to National City!
Eddie McClintock, best known for his role as Pete Lattimer on the Syfy series Warehouse 13, will be heading to Supergirl next week in the role of Col. James Harper, aka Guardian.
In the comics, Jim Harper is a Metropolis Police Officer who decides it’s time to take matters into his own hands and becomes the vigilante, Guardian. Â He describes his actions as “guarding society from criminals”. Â It was revealed in the comics that Jim Harper was actually the Great-Uncle of Roy Harper, aka Red Arrow from the CW series Arrow.
Harper has deep ties to Cadmus, in the comics, as he was cloned by them at one point. Â Even in the very popular animated series, Young Justice, we see Guardian working for Cadmus. Â Cadmus has been name-dropped on Arrow, and a vial from Cadmus Labs has been hidden in plain sight since the pilot of The Flash, but the lab has never really served a significant purpose on any of the current DC TV shows.
The episode in question is titled “Manhunter.” Â Check out the synopsis below:
