A new Suicide Squad trailer debuted only a couple weeks before the film is set to be released to the masses. And the big one, today Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice can be brought home on Blu-ray. This is so exciting because not only is the Blu-ray packed with so many marvelous special features, but fans will also be treated to thirty minutes of never before seen footage. With August 5th rapidly approaching the new trailer for Suicide Squad was a nice way to keep fans amped up about the film. We’ve seen several trailers over the past few months and each one has been better than the last. This particular trailer is centered around Amanda Waller (Viola Davis). If this is going to be your first tango with Amanda Waller you are in for a treat. A strong woman who takes no guff from anyone, including her superiors. A hardened soldier that has seen her fair share of the front lines. Not only does the new trailer showcase Davis’ stellar performance but it also peppered in a few pieces of footage not shown in any of the previous trailers.

Needless to say, but I will anyway, Suicide Squad could be the movie that really helps the DCU establish itself as the front runner. Batman V Superman was a great film but it took a lot of grief from “internet critics.” The Suicide Squad film is something that has never been seen before, especially on this grand of a scale. It is poised to be a dark, gritty, action-packed riot.

Suicide Squad starring Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Will Smith, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Joel Kinnaman, Adam Beach, Jay Hernandez, Karen Fukuhara, Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje, and directed by David Ayer comes to the silver screen on August 5th. Be sure to go pick up your tickets now because it is sure to be a packed house.
