Tom Felton, most well known for his role as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter franchise, has recently been recruited for the next season of The Flash. “Will Felton’s character be a good guy or a presence of evil?,” has been a widely asked question. One could easily assume that with his dark roots in Harry Potter he would be a prime candidate to play a villain on The Flash. It isn’t really going to be that simple. Felton has been tasked with playing the role of Julian Dorn, a pier in the CSI community who rivals Barry Allen. Dorn also suspects that the Scarlett Speedster might be hiding a secret from the public. With so many twists and turns so far on The Flash, anything is possible. Especially now that we are more than likely entering a Flashpoint scenario.

The fine staff at Comicbook.com caught up with Felton at San Diego Comic-Con International. During a press event he answered a few questions about his upcoming role on The Flash. Check out the video and listen to Felton talk about Harry Potter references, his thoughts on his character, and how thankful he is for Barry altering the timeline.

Needless to say, Felton looks excited and in high spirits about taking on this new endevour. So now instead of seeing a smug Malfoy looming over Harry Potter we will get to see a highly intelligent CSI make Barry Allen feel a little less useful. Fans across the board and delighted to see one of their favorite big screen villains join, in my opinion, the best show on television right now.

If you’re no caught up, don’t feel bad, Malfoy isn’t either, do so quickly because The Flash will have you on the edge of your seat wanting so much more. Season 3 returns to The CW on October 4th at 8/7c.
